Are you overwhelmed and frustrated by conflicting information as to what the correct foods to eat are? Tried many different plans and just ended up with feeling worse in the end? I know how devastating this can be, after years of cooking or eating many different plans, it was an enormous relief to finally learn what good solid nutrition is!
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a science based, yet holistic approach to nutrition. The body has an amazing ability to heal, given the right tools. We believe health problems can be diminished, eliminated or avoided through a nutrient dense program, improving energy levels and overall health.
The goal of nutritional therapy is to educate you, the client to become knowledgeable as to how the body works, so that you are able to make an informed, educated decision to achieve your health goals.
There are certain foundations of health that are consistent among individuals, these are digestion, blood sugar handling, mineral and fatty acid balance and hydration. If these foundational needs within the body are not met, imbalances occur and manifest as escalating health conditions. The unique approach of Nutritional Therapy is to detect and correct these underlying dysfunctions in these foundations, with dietary and wellness counseling.
Each of us are bio-individually different, and a ‘one size fits all’ program does not suit everyone, factors such as age, genetics, lifestyle all contribute to individual nutritional requirements.
Nutritional Therapy can help you sort through the maze of conflicting dietary information out there, and custom tailor practical dietary changes combined with supplementation to correct nutritional deficiencies and restore balance and health to the body.
Call to schedule a introductory consultation to discuss your wellness goals and discover how you can benefit from Nutritional Therapy.
